NOTICE OF BRANCH CLOSURE
Fernlea Branch will be closed for refurbishment from Monday 3rd June for 10/12 weeks.

All the GP’s who normally work at Fernlea will be taking their surgeries from our branch in St John.

These surgeries will be on their usual days.
St John will be open every day of the week during this period.

COVID-19 Vaccine - Spring Booster 2024
COVID-19 Spring Boosters are now available, at the surgery, for eligible groups from Tuesday 16 April.

Eligible groups include Islanders:
• aged 75 and over
• aged 18 & over who have a weakened immune system

Contact 01534 516151 to make an appointment to have your COVID-19 spring booster.

The vaccine and appointment will be free of charge.
ANNUAL BIRTHDAY HEALTH CHECK
From January 1st, 2024, we have changed when we invite patients, with certain medical conditions, for their annual review to their birthday month.

If you have a long-term condition such as diabetes, asthma, or chronic obstructive airways disease (COPD), you will receive an invitation, either by text or letter, to book your annual review, with the Practice, during your birthday month.

Travel Clinic
Our travel clinics are open to all patients registered at Island Medical Centre. These are run by our dedicated Health Care Practitioners.

We advise you make an appointment at the travel clinic at least 4 to 6 weeks before your departure date. Please be aware we can't not answer individual enquiries by email or phone.
